Self Pack 20ft/40ft Container Shipping

Our Self Pack Container service is a very popular international moving option where we provide 1 x 20ft container or 1 x 40ft container at your choice of location in a major port city for up to 5 days for you to pack.  We then send the container to your choice of destination port.  From this point we can arrange clearance services for you or you can get your own broker to do this. This service is designed to keep your moving costs low by providing the most basic of moving services and you are fee to use your own labour or tender the process to local movers. What is the process?

  1. YouFr8 collect the container from the shipping line, the container is hired from the Line and the cost of the hire is included in the shipping cost.
  2. YouFr8 deliver the container to your home for you to pack.  You can keep the container up to 5 days.  You will need to liase with our operations team about your access.  Check out our information page about receiving a container at your property or at a facility.
  3. YouFr8 collect the container from your home or designated facility.
  4. YouFr8 take the container to the Origin PortThe Origin Port is the port from which your container sails.
  5. YouFr8 ship the container to the Destination PortThe Destination Port is the Port to which your goods are being shipped.

What is not included in the service?

This Service does not include any services or charges at the Destination PortThe Destination Port is the Port to which your goods are being shipped, it will also not include Marine Transit Insurance, Brokerage Services or Port Service Charges.  but these additional service charges are available on our website.  If you look below the basic shipping service in the “you may also like” section there will be an opportunity to get a quote on. Port Service Charges, Brokerage Services and Marine Transit Insurance.
